This bill amends the environmental conservation law to prohibit the Department of Environmental Conservation from restricting the burning of garbage, refuse, or rubbish in an open fire on land possessed by a single family or any part of a farm. The restriction does not apply to cities, villages, or towns with a population greater than twenty thousand. The provisions of this bill will expire on December 15, 2029.
