New York A02275 amends the public health law, the railroad law, and the public authorities law to require every train and train station operated by a public transit authority to contain an opioid antagonist. Public transit authorities must provide training, approved by the commissioner, to employees on the proper use of an opioid antagonist. The authority is authorized to implement a comprehensive medical emergency services program, including an emergency response protocol, for the benefit of persons utilizing transportation and other related services of the authority.
