The bill establishes a three-year job fair pilot program for incarcerated individuals within six months of release in Wende and New York City correctional facilities. These job fairs, held at least three times a year, will assist participants in finding employment. They will offer help in resume preparation, internet employment searches, and interview advice. Eligible incarcerated individuals will be escorted or transported to the job fairs. Those in Albion, Taconic, or Bedford Correctional Facilities will not participate in the job fairs but will receive enhanced job search opportunities.
