The bill establishes a temporary state commission to rename any projects, infrastructure, facilities, or sites within New York that are named after or include any reference to Robert Moses. The commission will submit recommendations to the commissioner of the New York state office of parks, recreation and historic preservation, the temporary president of the senate, and the speaker of the assembly within six months. The commissioner will then proceed with the renaming.
