Authorizes localities to establish administrative proceedings for enforcing housing maintenance codes and permits penalties to be enforced without.
This bill amends the multiple dwelling law and the multiple residence law to authorize localities to establish administrative proceedings for enforcing state and local housing maintenance codes. It allows administratively imposed penalties to be docketed and enforced in the same manner as a judgment in a civil action without further judicial proceedings.
