New York's veterans tuition awards program is expanded to include all honorably discharged veterans who were residents of New York before and after serving in the U.S. armed forces. The program provides veterans with an award equal to the in-state tuition paid at a state university for each semester they are engaged in undergraduate, graduate, or vocational study. This act takes effect immediately.
