The bill directs the department of state to establish and maintain a statewide registry of mental hygiene and child supervision residential facilities. This registry will include facilities for juvenile delinquents, the mentally ill, the developmentally disabled, and the chemically dependent. The offices of children and family services, mental health, addiction services and supports, and the office for people with developmental disabilities will submit facility information to the department of state. The registry will be updated regularly and made available to the public.
