The bill amends the social services law to specify that services for traumatic brain injuries granted pursuant to a waiver under the federal social security act will begin. These services will not be provided to medical assistance recipients through managed care programs until at least January 1, 2027. The act takes effect on the same date and in the same manner as a chapter of the laws of 2024.
