This bill amends the social services law to ensure that services provided in school-based health centers are not provided to medical assistance recipients through managed care programs. It adds a new paragraph to section 364-j of the social services law, specifying that such services must continue to be provided outside of managed care programs. The act takes effect immediately and is deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2025.
