This bill establishes a tax exemption for buildings constructed or improved according to bird-friendly design standards. Buildings meeting these standards will be exempt from taxation by municipal corporations in cities of one million or more. The exemption applies to constructions or improvements initiated on or after January 1, 2027, and is subject to local law adoption. The exemption percentages decrease annually over ten years.
