Authorizes the commissioner of health to withhold reimbursements from medical assistance programs to retail entities that decline to make available.

New York A00352 amends the public health law to authorize the commissioner of health to withhold reimbursements from medical assistance programs to retail entities that decline to make available, dispense, distribute, or sell a product approved by the federal government which would block, prevent, or otherwise negate a pregnancy. The commissioner may also withhold funds due to the actions of a retail entity doing business in another state or jurisdiction that has a common ownership or brand with a retail entity doing business in New York. This act shall take effect immediately.
