Maryland SB769 authorizes the University System of Maryland to issue bonds for academic facility projects, totaling $50,000,000. The bonds will finance the Electrical Substation Expansion and Improvements at Towson University, the Health and Human Sciences Complex at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Rita Colwell Center at the University System of Maryland Office. Additionally, the bonds will cover deferred maintenance projects. The bonds do not constitute a debt or obligation of the State or any political subdivision. The Act takes effect June 1, 2026.
