The Suitland Development Authority is established in Prince George's County to promote economic development and neighborhood revitalization. The Authority will manage funds from Prince George's County Housing, develop a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization plan, and coordinate with residents and stakeholders. The Authority can modify the boundaries of the target area and buffer zone, subject to a majority vote. It is exempt from certain taxes and assessments but must pay local real property taxes on sold or leased properties.
