Maryland SB434 modifies the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Fund to allocate funds for refunds or credits to residential distribution customers who are members of cooperative housing corporations or unit owners of condominiums. These refunds are to be issued during peak summer and winter months in fiscal year 2027. The refunds are to be identified as a "legislative energy relief refund" on the customer's bill. The refunds are in addition to those provided under another section of the State Government Article.
