Maryland SB401 modifies the compensation for the chair and certain part-time inspectors of the Anne Arundel County Board of License Commissioners. The chair's annual salary is set at a minimum of $21,240, inclusive of any cost-of-living increase available to county employees, and includes reimbursement for reasonable expenses. Part-time deputy chief inspectors and other part-time inspectors receive an annual salary of at least $8,260, also inclusive of any cost-of-living increase and reimbursement for expenses. The bill takes effect on July 1, 2026.
