Maryland SB315 requires the expungement of cases involving only cannabis possession charges from the Maryland Electronic Courts (MDEC) system if the charge was issued before July 1, 2023. The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services must remove all references to these cases from the MDEC system by July 1, 2024.
