Maryland SB254 requires the State Board and nonpublic schools to develop and implement a program of age-appropriate education on the awareness and prevention of sexual abuse and assault. This program must include material promoting awareness and prevention of human and sex trafficking for students in certain grades. The State Board shall adopt regulations to carry out the provisions of this section. The Act takes effect July 1, 2026.
