Alters the Baltimore County School Board Nominating Commission membership to include new representatives.
This bill changes the composition of the Baltimore County School Board Nominating Commission. It adds a representative from the Greater Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 3, Council 434, and the Citizens Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education. The Commission will now consist of eight members appointed by the Governor from specific legislative districts and one at-large member appointed by the County Executive.
