Maryland HB915 creates a Workgroup on Aging Out of Foster Care to evaluate resources available for youth who have aged out of foster care. The Workgroup will identify types of resources, determine their effectiveness, and assess challenges with current services. It will also identify successful programs that support youth transitioning into adulthood and self-sufficiency. The Workgroup will submit a report to the General Assembly by June 1, 2027. The Act will take effect June 1, 2026, and will expire June 30, 2027, without further action.
