This bill allows the Prince George's County Council to defer the payment of school facilities surcharges on new residential construction until the final inspection of the new residential construction, the issuance of an use and occupancy permit for the property, or the time of closing of the first sale of the property occurring after the issuance of the building permit. It also allows the governing body of Prince George's County to defer the payment of public safety and behavioral health surcharges until the same events occur.
