The Maryland Commission for Boys' and Men's Health is established to tackle health disparities among boys and men. The Commission will review health data, collaborate with partners, and advise on policies and programs. It will focus on specific health conditions like prostate and testicular cancer, oral cancer, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes, and substance use disorders. The Commission will also promote gender and culturally responsive care, monitor federal and state policies, and submit annual recommendations for policy changes to the Governor and relevant committees.
