Maryland HB325 amends the composition of the Professional Standards and Teacher Education Board. The Board now includes eight public school classroom teachers, two from a statewide teachers’ organization and two from a statewide organization representing teachers in at least one jurisdiction. It also includes two members from the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities, one member from the Maryland Association of Boards of Education, two representatives of collective bargaining purposes, six teacher education faculty members, and one administrative or supervisory staff.
