The Maryland Technology Development Corporation will create a grant and loan program for Long COVID innovation. The Corporation will contract with an independent review committee of scientific experts to evaluate research proposals. The Maryland Long COVID Research Fund will be established as a special, nonlapsing fund to support the program. The fund will receive appropriations and interest earnings. The Corporation will establish criteria for reviewing applications and will report annually on the program's progress.
