Maryland HB116 requires the State Superintendent to compile and submit an annual report on procurement contracts and memoranda of understanding entered into by county boards, county superintendents, and schools in the public elementary and secondary education system. The report must list each contract and memorandum, the total amount required to be paid, and the total amount paid during the preceding fiscal year. Additionally, each local school system must make publicly available on its website each agreement entered into from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
