Georgia HB48 introduces a homestead exemption from City of Euharlee ad valorem taxes for residents of the special district in Bartow County. The exemption amount is determined annually based on the proceeds of a new Local Homestead Option Sales Tax (LHOST). This exemption applies to all taxable years starting January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2039. The exemption is in addition to any other applicable homestead exemptions.
