Georgia HB1570 amends the membership of the Cochran/Bleckley Airport Authority board. The authority consists of seven members: three appointed by the City of Cochran, three by Bleckley County, and one by a majority of the other six members. The bill allows members appointed by Bleckley County to be residents of Bleckley County or any adjacent county with expertise in aviation, business, or finance. Members must be at least 21 years old and not convicted of a felony. The bill repeals any conflicting laws.
