SECTION 1. Definitions.
In this resolution:
artificial intelligence system.— (2) ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM.—The term “artificial intelligence system” means any machine-based system that, for explicit or implicit objectives, infers from the input it receives how to generate outputs, including predictions, content, recommendations, or decisions, that can influence physical or virtual environments.
Select Committee.— (3) SELECT COMMITTEE.—The term “Select Committee” means the Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence established by section 2.
