The Northern Border Security Enhancement and Review Act amends the Northern Border Security Review Act to update the northern border threat analysis and strategy. The Secretary of Homeland Security must update the northern border strategy by September 2, 2026, and every five years thereafter, incorporating the most recent threat analysis. The threat analysis must now occur every three years, with the first update due by September 2, 2025. The Secretary must also provide classified briefings to appropriate congressional committees within 30 days of submitting each threat analysis.
