Aging with Artificial Intelligence Act of 2026 examines AI's impact on older adults.

The Aging with Artificial Intelligence Act of 2026 directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to commission a study from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on the effects of artificial intelligence-enabled systems on older adults. The study will analyze patterns of use, benefits, risks, and outcomes, including cognitive, behavioral, and social impacts. The Director of the National Institute on Aging will also facilitate research and best practices on AI use by older adults. The bill allocates up to $2,000,000 for fiscal years 2027 and 2028.
