The Enhancing Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Through Campus Planning Act amends the Higher Education Act of 1965 to promote comprehensive mental health and suicide prevention plans at institutions of higher education. The bill requires the Secretary of Education, in coordination with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to develop and disseminate evidence-based model mental health and suicide prevention action plans. These plans must be aligned with the evidence-based suicide prevention programs of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
