Economic Relief for Specialty Crops Act provides $5 billion for payments to specialty crop producers.

The Economic Relief for Specialty Crops Act allocates $5 billion to the Secretary of Agriculture for fiscal year 2027. This funding is intended to support payments to producers of specialty crops, as defined in the Specialty Crops Competitiveness Act of 2004. Payments will be made under the Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers program, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the notice titled “Notice; Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops.”
