The Wildlife Health Coordination and Zoonotic Disease Prevention Act of 2026 establishes a program within the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to enhance coordination among Federal, State, and Tribal agencies on wildlife disease and zoonotic disease surveillance and outbreaks. The program, known as the Wildlife Health Coordination and Zoonotic Disease Program, is jointly administered by the Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and the Administrator of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.
