The Health Savings Account Expansion Act amends the Internal Revenue Code to expand eligibility for health savings accounts. It includes medical care service arrangements as medical expenses, allows payment of health plan and health insurance premiums from HSAs, and treats health care sharing ministry expenses as medical care. It also expands eligibility for over-the-counter drugs and modifies high deductible health plan requirements. The changes apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2026.
