The Consumer Protection Remedies Act of 2026 amends the Federal Trade Commission Act to provide for equitable relief, including disgorgement of unjust enrichment, restitution for consumer loss, rescission or reformation of contracts, and refund of money or return of property. The amendments apply to any action or proceeding commenced after the enactment of this Act. Disgorgement is limited to unjust enrichment obtained in the 10 years preceding the filing of the Commission’s suit.
