Introduced·3/26/26

Preventing Youth Homelessness Demonstration Act of 2026 awards grants to entities to prevent youth homelessness.

The Preventing Youth Homelessness Demonstration Act of 2026 establishes a grant program to award funds to eligible entities for preventing youth homelessness. The Secretary of Health and Human Services will make grants to eligible entities, including state agencies, local governments, and educational agencies, to identify and implement strategies and services for at-risk youth. The act defines "covered individual" as those aged 12-26 at risk of homelessness. Grant funds must supplement, not supplant, other funds.
