The Revitalizing America’s Schoolyards Act of 2026 authorizes the Secretary of Education to award grants to eligible entities, including local educational agencies and educational service agencies, to revitalize schoolyards. Eligible entities can apply for planning grants to develop concept plans and implementation grants to transform outdoor spaces into revitalized schoolyards. These revitalized schoolyards must be inclusive, accessible, and use non-petroleum-based materials.
