Establishes standards and guidelines to make open government data assets artificial intelligence-ready.

The Artificial Intelligence-Ready Data Act aims to create standards and guidelines for making open government data assets suitable for artificial intelligence use. The Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology will develop these standards and guidelines in consultation with relevant federal agencies. The standards will ensure that open government data is artificial intelligence-ready, interoperable, and secure, while also considering intellectual property concerns.
