A BILL
To amend the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Organization Act to provide for further deployment and coordination of Next Generation 9–1–1, and for other purposes.
Further deployment and coordination of Next Generation 9–1–1
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Next Generation 9–1–1 Act”.
SEC. 2.
Part C of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Organization Act is amended by adding at the end the following:
“SEC. 159. Coordination of Next Generation 9–1–1 implementation.
