Migrant Crime Reporting Act of 2026 authorizes grants to states to collect and analyze migrant crime data.

The Migrant Crime Reporting Act of 2026 authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to award grants to states for fiscal year 2027 and each fiscal year thereafter. States must use the grants to collect and analyze data from law enforcement agencies on the number of migrants charged with or convicted of a criminal offense. States that receive grants must make the data publicly available on their websites and submit a report to the Secretary.
