Keeping All Students Safe Act prohibits seclusion and dangerous restraints in schools.

The Keeping All Students Safe Act aims to prohibit and prevent seclusion, mechanical restraint, chemical restraint, and dangerous restraints that restrict breathing, and to prevent and reduce the use of physical restraint in schools. It mandates that no student shall be subjected to unlawful seclusion or restraint by program personnel, a law enforcement officer, or a school security guard while attending any program that receives federal financial assistance.
