Establishes a health freedom waiver program and creates Trump Health Freedom Accounts.
The More Affordable Care Act establishes a health freedom waiver program allowing states to waive certain Affordable Care Act requirements. States must maintain a high-risk insurance pool. The Secretary of Health and Human Services will pay eligible residents amounts they would have received in premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions into Trump Health Freedom Accounts. These accounts can be used for qualified medical expenses but not for gender transition procedures or abortion services.
