The Pay Our Military Act of 2025 is designed to ensure continuous pay and allowances for members of the Armed Forces and supporting personnel during potential lapses in government appropriations. This bill establishes a mechanism to appropriate necessary funds from the Treasury to maintain compensation for active service members, civilian personnel, and contractors supporting the Department of Defense and Coast Guard operations when regular fiscal year appropriations are not in effect. By providing this financial continuity, the Act aims to mitigate the impact of government shutdowns or funding gaps on military readiness and personnel welfare.
