Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act

The Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act mandates the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to implement a pilot program providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to veterans with traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder through community care providers. The program will operate in two selected Veterans Integrated Service Networks, with facilities required to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations or the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
