The MORE DOT Grants Act seeks to improve the process for awarding grants under certain Department of Transportation programs to High-Density Public Land Counties and other local governments in those counties. A High-Density Public Land County is defined as a county with a population of not more than 100,000 people and where more than 50 percent of the land is owned or managed by the federal government.
