S.2324

Pesticide Injury Accountability Act of 2025

Introduced·7/17/25

Pesticide Injury Accountability Act of 2025 establishes a private right of action for injuries caused by pesticides.

The Pesticide Injury Accountability Act of 2025 amends the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act to allow individuals injured by pesticides to bring a civil action in federal court against the pesticide registrant for monetary damages. The damages include compensatory and punitive damages, at the court's discretion, but exclude attorney's fees and court costs. The act does not preempt any state law claims.
