The Prevent Interruptions in Physical Therapy Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to include physical therapists in the list of providers allowed to utilize locum tenens arrangements under Medicare. This change applies to outpatient physical therapy services furnished by physical therapists, aligning them with the same rules as physicians' services. The amendment takes effect after the date of the Act's enactment.
