The No Adversarial AI Act aims to safeguard the U.S. government from foreign adversary artificial intelligence.
The No Adversarial AI Act requires the Federal Acquisition Security Council to compile a list of artificial intelligence produced or developed by foreign adversaries. Executive agencies must review and consider removing AI from this list, barring approved exceptions. Exceptions are allowed for scientifically valid research, evaluation, training, testing, analysis, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, or mission-critical functions. The list must be published and updated every 180 days. The act defines key terms such as "foreign adversary" and "foreign adversary entity.
