Black Vulture Relief Act of 2025 authorizes livestock producers and their employees to take black vultures to prevent livestock harm.
The Black Vulture Relief Act of 2025 allows livestock producers and their employees to take black vultures that are causing or likely to cause death, injury, or destruction to livestock. This act modifies the Migratory Bird Treaty Act to permit such actions. It also prohibits the use of poison to take black vultures. Covered persons must report their actions annually to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service using a form developed by the Director. The form cannot be more burdensome than existing reporting forms.
