Expands Joshua Tree National Park and renames the Cottonwood Visitor Center to the Dianne Feinstein Visitor Center.

The Joshua Tree National Park Expansion Act amends the California Desert Protection Act of 1994 to expand the boundary of Joshua Tree National Park by adding approximately 20,149 acres of land. It also redesignates the Cottonwood Visitor Center at Joshua Tree National Park as the “Dianne Feinstein Visitor Center.” The bill allows the Secretary of the Interior to acquire land within the expanded park boundary through donation, purchase from a willing seller, exchange, or transfer. Land owned by the State of California or its political subdivisions can only be acquired by donation or exchange.
