American Infrastructure Bonds Act of 2025 provides a credit to issuers of American infrastructure bonds.
The American Infrastructure Bonds Act of 2025 amends the Internal Revenue Code to provide a credit to issuers of American infrastructure bonds. The issuer of an American infrastructure bond shall be allowed a credit with respect to each interest payment under such bond. The Secretary shall pay 28 percent of the interest payable under such bond on each interest payment date. The credit applies to bonds where the interest would otherwise be excludable from gross income, not private activity bonds, and where the issuer makes an irrevocable election.
